Planety

One of the benefits of being a rubbish sleeper is that you get to see things that are a bit strange or unusual.

Last night I got to see Saturn, Mars, Venus and Jupiter in a line.  And of course I didn't take a photo of it, but I did get a shot of Jupiter.  As it turns out I got three moons as well and a star called Piscium who was busy not being Neptune, which I thought it was.

Because of the rubbish sleeping bit, and because doing the gymming is extra hard if you're running on not enough sleep I decided to try some stuff the gym was flogging.

Turns out they have a bunch of different concoctions that do different things, and I ended up grabbing the one I hadn't heard of before.

I had a look online to see what I has just likely wasted my money on.  In the section for other uses we find:

So as long as it goes in my mouth I may be relieved of any depression I don't think I have.  I'm almost game to see what happens if it's taken... elsewhere. A cheerier derriere?

As for it being possibly ineffective for Down Syndrome, that's not really a surprise but they've also missed out broken bones, scurvy and male pattern baldness that its equally ineffective for as well.

I'm busy having trouble with Dulles airport in Virginia, and the fact that it isn't that near Washington.  For some reason I booked flights from Vegas to DC to Dulles, not realising that Ronald Regan airport was much closer.  As it turned out, changing my ticket to RR airport is far more expensive than just getting an Uber and I think I've accepted that's the way to go.

One of the places on my list for DC was the Smithsonian Air & Space museum which is, of course, closed for a revamp.  Crap.  They do have an off-shoot museum called the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center that has a bunch of stuff I'd love to see so tonight's job was to sort out tickets etc for it.  First step, where is it and how do I get there.

FFS, it's next to Dulles International Airport.  I give up, time for some 5-HTP.

Four months...

Only four months to go before I'm flying off again. The last trip doesn't seem that long ago in some ways but a whole lot has happened in three years.
The Finnerty Ave family are all in our own separate houses now, although we were all together this weekend at times.

I was also happy to see that my small amount of training and dieting has made a difference. I went for a little walk around this evening and not only did I not break into a sweat putting my shoes on, it was an effortless and painless time.

Hopefully by September I'll be ready for the big (for me) 6km hike around the Washington DC Mall area without medical or mechanical assistance.
